Camerons Brewery Visitors Centre is on the site of the former Stranton pub. It offers a remarkable and educational insight into beer production but is also fascinating story of entrepreneurial activity, innovation, social history and political manoeuvring. Interactive displays trace brewing through the ages and the rise of the present
company from its origins in 1865 when John William Cameron first entered the Lion Brewery.
The Brewery Tour
Brewery Tours are available Tuesday to Sunday, where visitors can see how Camerons beers are made. People are invited to meet the faces behind the beer, ask questions and to take in the wonders of the Italian marble-lined brew hall.
Guided tours can be thirsty work, so we invite you to join us in the relaxing, atmospheric, fully-licensed bar and enjoy the likes of award-winning Camerons Strongarm, the brewery's flagship beer which is as distinct as Hartlepool itself.
